Co-investment funding opportunities

Some of the funds our expert teams may help you access are our own co-investment funds. We co-invest funds into high-growth businesses alongside private investors, including business angels, angel syndicates, venture capital groups and corporate investors.

If you’re a small or medium business based in Scotland with high growth potential, the following funds could help you access investments from £10,000 up to £10 million.

Scottish Co-Investment Fund

Are you a Scottish start-up, early-stage or growing company seeking investment to develop products and/or markets? We can match fund accredited investment partners to support your growth plans.

Scottish Venture Fund

Seeking funding to develop products and/or markets? This flexible equity gap fund invests alongside private sector investors, offering equity funding from £10,000 up to £2 million.

Energy Investment Fund (EIF)

Need funds to accelerate your next energy project? We’re your go-to contact for loans and equity for community and commercial renewable and low carbon energy projects across Scotland.

Scottish Loan Scheme

Loans for working capital, capital expenditure, growth funding, expansion in international markets and marketing investment.

Maven UK Regional Buyout Fund

Private equity funding of £5 million to £15 million for management buyouts (MBOs).

Closed: Early Stage Growth Challenge Fund

This fund is now closed for applications. If you submitted an application before 5pm on 31 July 2020, you’ll find out whether or not you’ve been successful in the week commencing 7 September 2020.
