The vast majority of Scottish companies exporting or targeting Italy in recent years focused their attention on the food service and on-trade channel (Bar, Restaurants, Hotels and on trade channel), a sector that has been heavily affected by COVID-19 crisis in Italy and globally. If on one side, the global pandemic has generated huge losses to the sector, on the other side the industry (importers, distributors and other businesses in the supply chain) have reacted to the crisis, trying to accommodate the new reality with innovative solution, often making full use of available technology. The Webinar will see external speakers selected from the Italian Industry who will share with the audience the challenges they had to deal with during the crisis and how the industry has reacted to the changes, giving birth to new opportunities.
